Album artwork refinement and illustration polish
We were asked to help out with The Anti-Queens’ upcoming album Disenchanted in late summer 2023. The band already had strong tattoo-style designs created by their tattoo artist, Dallas Conte, but needed a more polished illustrated look and feel for the final album release.
The goal was to elevate what already existed without losing the original character of the artwork.
CREATIVE DIRECTION
Refining existing tattoo artwork into a finished album visual
The work focused on cleaning up the original layouts and adding depth and detail throughout the illustration. This included refining the flowers, ropes, barbed wire, and timepieces, as well as adding more realism to the unicorn anatomy.
The band already had a clear colour direction, so the focus was on tightening the palette, updating the logo, and improving overall cohesion across the artwork.

Outcome
