THE PROJECT
Ecommerce rebrand and platform upgrade for an adventure gear brand.
Suluk 46 came to us ready for a complete reset. Their ultralight camping gear had a loyal following, but their brand and ecommerce experience weren’t doing the products justice. They needed a clearer identity, a stronger storefront, and a better way to connect their products to the real-world adventures behind the brand.
The goal was to reintroduce Suluk 46 with confidence and create an ecommerce experience built for growth.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Rebuilding an adventure brand around performance and storytelling
This project focused on aligning brand, content, and ecommerce into a single cohesive experience. The site needed to clearly showcase ultralight products, build trust through real-world use, and support growth without overcomplicating the buying process.
1.
The Challenge
The existing site didn’t clearly communicate what made Suluk 46 different. Product value was buried, branding felt inconsistent across touchpoints, and the ecommerce experience wasn’t optimized around how customers actually browsed and purchased gear.
2.
Our Approach
We started by reviewing customer feedback and identifying friction points in the buying journey. From there, we refreshed the brand and restructured the site to highlight products earlier, clarify benefits, and integrate real-world content that showed the gear in use.
Design decisions were driven by function first, with visuals supporting performance and clarity.
3.
The Solution
A complete ecommerce refresh with updated branding, improved product presentation, and tighter UX across the store. We refined the logo, updated color choices, introduced the feather element, and ensured the branding translated cleanly to engraved products and apparel.
We also integrated Suluk 46’s adventure vlog content directly into the site, using video to reinforce credibility and connect products to real experiences.
4.
Results
A dramatically improved ecommerce experience that delivered measurable results. Within six months of launch, the site generated over $100k in product sales and achieved a 10x increase in conversion rate, positioning Suluk 46 for continued growth.
This project highlights how we approach ecommerce website development, combining brand clarity, UX improvements, and real-world storytelling to drive conversion.
